Life in itself is a learning experience. Setbacks, failures, devastation struggles all come in our life to check our preparedness to deal with them. Once the necessary learning is taken, we get stronger and become better equipped to deal with them. So there are few lessons that only exigencies teach us. Everyone has to deal with them as per their resources that is why no straight jacket formula is there to teach students with those skills even by imparting education. Some things are just learned by living life and observing its uncertainty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Schooling teaches us few skills. College degree adds to the list further. But the skills to survive in a connected monetary system and an uncertain world are not taught to us. And the current education system in India deals with concepts of Financial literacy and its importance in a very limited fashion. That is why India is home to a small share of entrepreneurs even after being the most populous nation in the world. We believe the current atmosphere is improving after the Indian Government’s enhanced efforts and focus on entrepreneurship potential of our nation and associated launch of financial schemes the most important being the Financial inclusion initiatives like Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Make In India program, Startup India Scheme, Stand Up India Scheme, MUDRA scheme, PMSBY, PMJJBY, etc. These programs are laying the foundations for the future generations who are currently inculcating necessary values and discipline for carrying out entrepreneurial tasks. Still there are large gaps that need to be filled. And financial literacy of the people is one area where a lot needs to be done. So we at Vipodha Foundation have launched our flagship Financial Literacy Program for the willing people. We will be creating and spreading Financial awareness through Blogs, School lecture series, Awareness Videos, Quizzes, Discussions, Podcasts and other activities. We want you to be a part of this journey where we seek to bring accomplished personalities from various walks of life come and share their professional experiences and advices which coupled with efforts would certainly make a little difference.
